What purpose would a reform WTS have, anyway?
Your question above epitomizes your entire questioning post and I will answer it. To make life more fulfilling and enjoyable for those choosing to remain or become associated with Christians via the WTS.
As for those "old men", what about them? A lot of "old men" have lived and died. What matters is life now and that to come, ours and our neighbors. What matters is enjoying our present life to the full, having a hope for future life and helping our fellow man. That is what I classify as spirituality. Is there any more that we can really do? Need what some "old men" did in the past hinder us? Will we forever concern ourselves with blame and forget to focus on solutions? Are we more interested in fixing the blame or fixing the problem? I choose the positive focus, that of fixing the problem, let the blame fall where it may. Every moment we consume ourselves with desire for retribution are self expenditures. Afterward and finally we still must focus on life now, that to come and the needs of our fellowman. Why not get to that first and stop wasting time?
