Thanks for the great response Friend. I want to mention just two things that more than one response addresses.

Volunteerism: It's a good thing to a point, as has been said, but I should think it would at least be humane to have a health plan for the workers.

Handbooks etc.: I can't understand why any religion would need confidential rules but then again I don't go in for the Disfellowshipping. I forgot to ask your views on this. I guess I am too much a Catholic because I think each individual should decide if they want to worship God and where. If they are a terrible person people will more than likely shy away naturally from that person anyway. I think the shunning thing is just a control tool.
