Despite the many sad stories about JWs on this site, in fairness, it should be noted that these are one-sided. The people accused, in most cases, cannot defend themselves from these accusations.
Let's take just one of these points. The one about JWs not caring about those who leave -- wrong. There are many who mourn the loss of dear friends for years (Phil. 3:18a). I don't know your story, however -- as a whole -- JWs welcome back any who return (Luke 15:4-5). Of course, the person whose opinion actually counts is God's.
