Andrew,

Due to a hectic schedule lately, I have not been able to visit this site, so this post may go blind & unread. However, I will answer .. for the record (should one exist).

You begin: "I'm intrigued as to how the ozone depletion et al is actually going to be fixed in the New World you seek?"

Not being a scientist with such far reaching mental powers (if so, I would be honored as a nobel laureate surely :-), I of course can't answer this question. There are however, certain biblical principles which would govern a society living on this planet (Rev. 11:18). Our present society is addicted to fossil fuels -- like any addiction -- this one must have a "drying out" period. A millenium would certainly suffice.

"Are we (well you anyway ;-) going to still be using CFC's to manufacture computers and other electronic stuff? Who's going to program the things?"

The person "lucky-enough" (dare I say it?) to inhabit a planet governed by a theocracy will fit the description of Ps. 15 -- attempts to judge each other, individually, as fit for this world are shallow judgments.

Questions of whether cars will be driven, pc's used -- who will program them -- are borderline ridiculous (unless there is geniune curiosity). Technology in this century has evolved at unprecedented scales -- in a few mere decades, we are now a danger to ourselves because of it.

So the question is, what do you think?
