Dang. I do worse than that on my best days!
I guess it is obvious that Rick is a very sensitive person. In my two years on this board, I've seen Rick get tons of compliments and encouragements. He only got major flack for trying to defend some of the poor decisions by Moderator 14. He deserved it, too. But he was not attacked as a person. His actions were attacked.
I can't recall someone ever expressing anything approaching hatred or even dislike for our dear old Rick.
Heck, even Rick and I have exchanged pleasant correspondence, and I'm the biggest scoundrel on this board!
You did us all a service by letting us know that Rick has had even more tough times than we knew.
I really do wish him happiness.
I also believe that meaningful reform in the WTS is, if not a fantasy, a tough, long hill to climb. If they would simply stop their shunning as is now practiced and go back to the Bible principals on the matter, I will go away. Forever. Promise.
