I appreciate the time you took to answer my post. I was giving you a little background on Covert so you perhaps could see why he reacted the way he did. Yes, I did read those posts, Covert e-mailed them to me. I spoke with him at COL2 shortly after the incident.
I can honestly tell you that I felt bad for Rick. I have never seen him react like that, but, I will tell you this, Covert would not have been so "mean" with his words if he was not fed up with the "holier than thou" attitude he sees displayed here. I'm not telling you to set up a system to verify ages, I'm telling you that not everyone who learns "the truth" is going to stay in the organization. Calling them rabid and hypocrites is not the answer. Try to understand that they chose to leave for the same reasons you chose to work for reform.
That was the jist of my post. I wasn't defending the things Covert said to Rick. What I am saying is that you cannot maintain this type of website and freely call opposers of the WTS rabid and hypocrits without looking a tad on the hypocritical side yourself. That is what Covert was saying to Rick, although his language was much more clourful than mine.
