I just think even though there are a lot of bad things to say about the religion and being in it, when push comes to shove there are a lot of good friends in the organization. They are, after all, just fellow victims in the end, just like us.
The people I hang out with now are cool too, but it doesn't quite get rid of the way I feel about my former cong. members and JW friends. It's just a shame that it just gets "cut off" just like that. I'd say
the worst part about it is knowing that they don't really feel bad about you- it's just the mind control at work.
