Hello Australian,

It's obvious Rick needed a break, I'm surprised he went this long without one. But welcome to the show and I hope this can be a benefit to the board and not turn it upside down.

My first point of this is the deal with the bin. First of all, how full is full? If one post constitutes a full bin, then it defeats the purpose of the bin even existing. Those who browse the bin know that they do so at their own risk and obviously feel that they can stomach anything in there. Plus it helps to point out possible moderator abuse.

I see what you are saying, but I think that a possible revision is in order. Maybe a vote amongst the participants as to whether or not posts should remain in the bin, perhaps for a certain amount of time. Or maybe a login needed for access, that way children who may not have a login cannot access it.

I propose myself that posts should be allowed to remain in the bin for all who wish to view them for 48 hours, then deleted. That way those who wish to catalog them on their own computers can do so for future reference, or just to see what was said so they can decide for themselves. Or for whatever other reason.

I'm just throwing ideas around here, so hopefully we can all come to a conclusion that makes everyone somewhat happy.

In Jehovah's Love,

Jason
