Yes. The "creature" Satan, an incredibly beautiful angel was created by a higher power.

Just like the bank robber who just robbed the bank. I don't say, "Oh, that evil bank robber, where did he come from, he must have evolved from those trash cans over there..."

Of course, God made us "free moral agents" to make a choice about whether we want "life and good or death and bad." Somewhere in that formula, one must know that a certain percentage is going to choose "bad and death."

But at the same time, those who CHOOSE good, are of a higher order since they are not robots, just acting on instinct.

So, in the grand scheme of things, you have to consider the "process" and the "purpose."

But that is a long philosophical discussion and the main point here is that it seems, to me at least, that a few incredible creations that exist testify to intelligent design far more than instinctive, random chaos.
