Yes, I did attend. As you know, I am actively involved in the recovering JW community both locally in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as on the internet. In that I was expelled almost 19 years ago, I feel that it behooves me to keep abreast of the constantly changing doctrine in an effort to provide concise, factual information to the many who contact me for information on the Organization.
- Did you celebrate it last night according to the Jewish passover date?
Attendance at the Memorial requires adhering to the JW's interpretation of the Nisan 14 date, inaccurate that it is. This was the only way for me to be present at a Kingdom Hall in order to gather the information I was looking for.
- Do you partake of the bread and wine? Why?
No. My purpose in attendance was not to create a disruption, but to gather information. Besides, in that I do not associate with any formalized Christian denomination, it would be hypocritical of me to do so, and my days of hypocrisy ended with my disfellowshipping in May 1980.
