This is mostly a farming community, so as you can imagine, the people here are pretty down to earth and neighborly.
We're even polite to JWs, though you hardly ever see them come around
anymore. And that's a pity. I'm dyin' to show them some of the stuff I've discovered about their history here on the net.:-)
By the way, I make my living playing C&W music in the bars around this part of the country. I hear Texas is a
good place to be if you like country music. I'd love to go down there some day to see what your honky tonks are like. Maybe I would be lucky enough to sit in with a band, just for the hell of it. I know lots of Waylon
tunes.......
