Yes. For one reason it is expected of me, kind of tradition. But I also want to show my gratitude for Jesus' sacrifice.
- Did you celebrate it last night according to the Jewish passover date?
No.
- Do you partake of the bread and wine? Why?
No. But the memorial makes me sadder every year. It is a token ceremony. I really don't think THAT is what Jesus wanted us to do. We read the text "Eat all of you." There is a prayer in behalf of the bread and the wine - and nobody takes.
I really think that will - there must - be a change in the future. That we will all be partakers.
