It was tasteless, and also inaccurate. One of the points mentioned to me when I was studying was that the eligible sisters outnumbered the brothers by about two to one. What this means is that it is the brothers that can afford to be bums,
not the sisters. I've heard many young brothers comment on the fact that sisters outnumber the brothers. For most of these guys, that was a very good thing, but I pity the poor sisters who had to settle for these specimens.
