are able to obtain good medical treatment and make
a full recovery. Your story underscores that the acceptance of a blood transfusion is a very serious matter that one should not take

sounds like the physicians involved may not have fully pursued the non blood alternatives. Then again, it is hard to second guess the doctors who were treating you. They made a judgement call. Despite the infection, the call
may well have been the right one and may have saved your life as I'm sure you realize.
