I'm inclined to agree with you (at least I HOPE
that's the explanation ;-) ), there's a few items that don't seem to fit:
1.
I'm pretty sure she
doesn't know what the Memorial is, so how would she know to type "happy holidays"? Even if she
does know about it, she's been hurt badly by my sis and me not
celebrating holidays-why would she make a joke
of
it?
2. The typewriter wasn't in the "preview"
mode- it was in regular "type" mode. Unless she
has lightning fast moves, I don't know how she
could have switched it from preview to type
quickly enough that I
wouldn't have seen it.
3. She didn't make a big deal out of it. She hasn't even mentioned it since it happened (about 2 days ago). If it were a joke, wouldn't she have confessed by now?
Oh well. I'm losing interest in finding out what it was. MR's idea seems pretty possible so I'll just leave it as a tie between a prank and a fluke until new evidence shows up. Unless my chairs get posessed like Jaypeeto said, I'm not really worried about it that much anymore.
