A very interesting question - one I have pondered myself.
I am not sure that we as humans really understand Jehovah's way of dealing with disease and lifespan etc. Just as I am equally unsure that the promised marvels of science will bring the wonderful benefits they promise.
I certainly cannot believe that Jehovah would allow himself and his purposes to be affected by what men can and cannot do.
I believe, as the scriptures say, that he has set a time for his purposes to be fulfilled.
Nevertheless, it is interesting to see how men are making these advances.
