Old urban legend, and also very old JW legend. You will find the same legend in practically every sect and fundie denomination, and it goes way back to the Dark Ages. Of course, the benefiting group varies with who tells the legend!
YouKnow has claimed basically the same thing here on H2O: that
when he was under the effect of LSD, demons told him that JWs had the truth. And of course, then it must be correct!
