That is, Christ gave up his 1st Century perfect body as a perpetual sacrifice for our redemption. So if he were to take it back up to appear in the flesh again during the millennium, that might have
represented some logistical or legal complications.

GLamota,

Why do you say this when it is written in scripture that: 1 Timothy 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

On what basis do you claim that such and immortal one will give this up?

And since our Lord prophecied that He would raise up the same body (temple) which He did, the same body which you call a perfect body that was killed, then there are no legal or logistical complications involved, according to His teaching but only the ones the Watchtower has manufactured for its witnesses.

John 2:19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

Joseph
