I found myself thinking just like you - it's like nailing jelly to the wall.
In a way this is the essence of the problem with the WTS - they change direction each time they hit an oil slick. Imagine if JWs had exams - mulipule choice: The correct answer is all of the following. The colourfulness of your explanation is only limited by your imagination. Seriously though - it's a worry, because if you choose to look at the faith from one stance only, you'll eventually have problems being a JW. Those that survive are those that can adapt.
