I realize that the form above restricts moderators from deleting posts were those posts are not specifically covered by the checkboxes above. Nevertheless, I do not believe that H2O administrators want moderator�s Internet identities revealed or advertised without their consent. If moderator 14 wants his/her Internet identity revealed they can do it for themselves. If they inadvertently reveal their Internet identity then those recognizing it can make the deduction without advertising it on this forum. For now I have taken the position that advertising a moderator�s Internet identity without their consent constitutes a personal attack.
If I am wrong in my presumptions and actions then I request that Rick make that plain. For now I have acted in good faith that this specific situation was obviously overlooked in the Rick�s initial H2OMAF (Rev. 99-03-22) or else that he meant the "personal attack" checkbox to cover it. Regardless, the situation appeared to need immediate attention. I hope I am correct, for numerous reasons.
I suggest that another checkbox be added like this:
[ ] Reveals personal and confidential information
Also, in light of the directions for using H2OMAF, I suggest adding this checkbox:
[ ] Moderator message without PIN
I will add that, IMO, the direction taken on this thread is inappropriate. If it continues there will likely be more deletions or the entire thread could vanish.
