Well, from what I've always heard (but I'm in the under thirty crowd), God could have forseen "The Fall" if he wanted to, but out of respect for the free will of his creatures, he chose not to know. Kinda different from saying he had no way of knowing. This seems to be a general trend with the WT, they want it all both ways....God has the capability to be omniscient...and they still want to avoid determinism.....Their quickfix still disqualifies God from being omniscient. So in a sense your understanding of it is in line with what I've been told.
