Speaking of AJWR, I thought it was run by JWs in good standing. You seem to imply it was out of control. Did JWs run AJWR? Are any of them participating on H2O? I never knew what happened to them.
One thing is for certain. AJWR pioneered the internet territory and helped to inspire those who founded this site to go ahead with it. Their support of EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) and anonymity encouraged anonymous security technology on this site, without which there might have been thousands of ongoing judicial committee meetings shortly after H2O opened. ;-)
For all their faults, those who started AJWR deserve praise for their role in permanently altering the future history of Jehovah's Witnesses. Many are singing Jehovah's praises with good conscience today who otherwise might have died years ago from lack of blood on account of AJWR's initial church reformation efforts. There is a very real possibility that the Kingdom Hall of the year 2010 will have happy Christians attending meetings; places filled with the beautiful sounds of real musical instruments playing to a vocalist brother leading a choir of congregation members...and a sister standing on the platform leading the congregation in prayer. This all started thanks to brothers and sisters with a pioneering spirit who risked everything to start a small site called AJWR.
