My mother told me about a post she saw on the board lately. I haven't been able to find it, but I wanted to make a reply. It was about a person who had a friend in the WTBS. This friend refused to read any anti-JW material that was given to him or her. I believe that is the wrong approach. No one likes to believe that they are wrong or being taken.
So my advise, this is what helped me, is to give this friend reading material that cannot be percieved as anti-JW. Like: Handbook of Epictetus, Plato's dialogs, Newtonian Physics. Anything that will expand the mind so this friend can see the limited doctrine that is being fed to him or her. Just my too cents.
