>And yet, how often have we referred to individuals who don't make it to all five as "weak," "unspiritual," or even "unappreciative?" If they average three meetings a week, instead of viewing them as having "missed two meetings," what about giving them credit for making the effort to be at three?

I think it could be said of you too that you are not far off from the kingdom of God. Right on in my books.

Meetings are a wonderful part of my week as I enjoy being with my brothers. Those who are not there, well it's up to the judge of all the earth to decide if they are weak or not. My concern is my own faith, and frankly if there was a meeting every night I would be there for the same reason.

Most experienced, balanced and faithful witnesses know that every time the WT makes reference to the Pharisees, it is for the benefit of those being oppressed by their brothers so they can recognize Satans children without pointing the finger at anyone.

>This holds true whether I'm commending, counseling, reproving, and even judging.

Amen Brother!

>It is my sincere hope that all of us can follow this model more closely -- the model set for us by The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived.

Mine too, but it will not happen in this system. Since the time of Job and before, Satan has used even the closest of acquaintances to try and shake Gods loyal ones. Keep turning the sheep to the master and do your best to deflect the criticism of the steward. And most of all READ THAT BOOK. The GM book yes but the bible is all that matters.
