This also happened to my brother. He decided to get back into the Org when he was about 20 yrs old. (he and I had studied as kids) He had been dating a gorgeous girl for 4 yrs and he wanted her to become a JW with him. They were crazy about each other, but this girl just couldn't get her mind around all the demands and life changes - it was all too foreign to her. So they spit up. It was such a tragedy, as they were perfect together. They both grieved for ages afterwards - I heard she suffered a mild nervous break down - but what did I care of her problems as long as I got my brother back in the *truth* before Armaggedon came in 1975?
The point of my post is to say that it probably had little to do with your worth JJ, that your girl friend couldn't hack the dub demands - she was probably smarter than the average bear? :))
