Before you jump into anything, check it out first. Check out their past, check out ALL of their beliefs, not just the blood issue. Ask questions, get both sides of their beliefs. This is a major step, don't take it lightly.
Type in the words Jehovahs Witnesses in any search engine and read both pro and con about them.
