Apparently he does not know anything about Greek dipthongs! The first two vowels in IESOUS are not prononced together and that is what makes them separate vowels.
At least RealJW knows how to spell diphthong and pronounced.
I chuckle wryly that you are so worried about the pronounciation of Greek diphthongs, when both the divine name and Jesus' name were Hebrew. Whatever was written in Greek was only an attempt to transliterate the sounds from Hebrew into Greek. Greek didn't always have the exact same sounds.
And, for what it's worth, the site referenced below does include iota-eta in its list of diphthongs.
I get the distinct impression that comparing information is not as important to you as proving Jan wrong. I don't see the point, but you go Yahweh; I'll go mine.
