Yakney,
You should perhaps follow the FPP and start using a unique screen name. You have stolen "Janey"s name, used for a long time, and will no doubt find your messages removed if you do not accept this.
Otherwise, it's easy to recognize your posting style. You are not YouKnow, but are the same as a hit-and-run poster who made total fools of yourselves in the past.
: Uh, Jan, why dont you EXPLAIN why the above is irrelevant?
No. That can't logically be done, which you would understand if you knew anything about logic. The one claiming relevancy has the sole burden of evidence. Explain why it is relevant to our debate.
: ME QUOTING STAFFORD - After all, we think nothing of our taking the Greek trisyllable Iesous, pronounced ee-aye-soos, with emphasis on the final syllable)
: JAN - Uh, how many syllables you say, Stafford?
: No, that is not a typo. Either Jan does not know what a syllable is, or he cannot count. Or he does not know how to pronounce the Greek word for Jesus. Or maybe, and this is the most likely option, he does not know what a syllable is, how to count, OR how to pronounce the Greek word for Jesus!
I know what a syllable is, I can count, and Stafford is wrong. Koine pronounciation of Iesous has two syllables.
Stafford is surprisingly enough correct about putting the stress on the last syllable, though. I am almost surprised that an American will recognizea circumflex.
YaKney, please explain the last sentence in the above paragraph to the other readers.
