I commend you for taking on such a huge endeavor... that of getting Jan to admit either that he is wrong, or that anything having to do with a view also held by JWs has merit.
I at one time had thought that Yahweh ws probably the correct pronunciation, but that "Jehovah" was no more a problem that "Jesus, Jeremiah" or a host of other English prununciations. But after reading a recent article in the WT, as well as info such as you presented from Stafford's book, I am open to the thought that "Jehovah" just may be closer to the true pronunciation. In any case, I feel less concerned about using that form.
Since I have not yet read Stafford's book (but fully intend to do so) I appreciate you sharing the information. I am in the process of reading Furuli's book and am finding it very worthwhile.
