Are you sure you are not talking about the Toronto Sun (Page 3 is pretty sensational smirk)
I find every paper in every country is slanted politically. All media of late is writing sensationalized news. There used to be a line between tabloid journalism and reputable news services. Since the first Clinton scandal that line has been blurred.
By the way I read all three major Toronto newspapers daily as well as the Boston Globe, NY Times and Washington Post. Watch the BBC at home for even more of an international perspective onthe same news stories.
I guess my point is that you are being somewhat unfair in singling out the Globe and Mail especially when you have a paper (tabloid) like the Sun sitting next to it at the newstands.
