Well, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. I recently watched a program on the tube about these so-called treatments in Mexico. The clients pay a lot of money to stay there and receive these treatments which
haven't shown any success. There are some anecdotal accounts that speak of great successes with this route, but by and large, conventional medical treatments prove to have the greatest success.
When I first heard this story, the doctors
were saying that the bone cancer in this boy's leg would spread if not treated immediately. Well, that's exactly what has happened. Now, due to the legal stuff that held up the treatment, this boy has lost any chance to arrest the cancer.
If an adult wants to take a chance with some alternative treatment, that's their business. But when a child is involved, I believe it is the doctors who should decide what treatment is best. They are the ones best equipped to make that
decision.
That's just how I feel about it.
