Iunderstand in mexico they did not sing fpor some decades neither. Well, it was noit the spiritual paradise, but at least those peolple were spared some dreadful "music". I hated the character of the texts which was more an autohypnosis or instruction talk but had nothging to do with praising Jah, apart from a few songs the melodies of which were "borrowed" from Brahms or Beethoven or Chopin or even other churches ..
When WT made their own songs in 69 it was a sheer
disaster, a scratching disk, disharmonic and with silly texts. Hamburgers and popcorn instead of a three star meal in good old Europe
