Thank you Norm, for expressing my thoughts more eloquently than I could ever manage to do. I do not think that I have mentioned how much I enjoy your posts, I read every post in the bin, so as to not miss any of them.
I would like to offer one excuse for our high crime rate here in the U.S.A., we are not nearly as monolithic a society as many of the other western nations, and I think this adds greatly to our difficulties with crime. On the other hand, I think it is the primary reason that we are as dynamic as we are. Whenever I hear some Rush Limbaugh type spout off about severely restricting immigration, I think of all of the great minds that we would have excluded from immigrating with such a policy. Plus, who will harvest our crops? Not us Anglos, that's for sure.
