I have friends who live in Sierra Leone - everytime I talk with them, or send them an email, I wonder if I will find them alive.

Was it a circumstance like that which made your blood boil? - as Norm has pointed out, it seems so out of perspective with most of the things that would surround you on a day to day basis.
Why not provide us a glimpse of the circumstance which initiated the post?
(For a while I was thinking I was going to read that some numbskull had worked out how to nuke the board - seriously)
