After reading his article (and getting quite
TICKED OFF, I must say), I closed H2O and
went to this author's home page at
www.sounddoctrine.com

sort of a mind produced that article!
My first instinct was right: he IS the
fundamentalist equivalent of You Know!
I would love for Jan Haugland to go to that homepage, and click on the offering which reads, I think,
TO ALL ATHEISTS, EVOLUTIONISTS, AND CONFIRMED CHRIST-REJECTORS, read what he has to say, and then respond to him with an email.
I haven't even read that offering, but judging from his approach to my church, I've no doubt that his
views are simplistic and uninformed and written in a self-righteous and highly-inflammatory manner. I think Jan or
Alan Feuerbacher would have a blast!
I am a Catholic; I don't reject what is orthodox and good in evangelicalism. I respect their sincere love for God. But poor research coupled with libellous accusations, are things for which I have no respect at all.
This home page is tied to a Baptist Church in North Dakota. Judging from the author's style, I
wouldn't be at all surprised, if I were to visit that church, to find a book-rack filled with
Jack Chick Tracts and Chick Magazines.
