But what if the Universe itself is our "creator"? An impersonal, albeit all-powerful "creator," despite what primitive, tribal musings might say?

Personally, I don't think that the evolution of mankind was an "accident." It was very carefully orchestrated, but by an impersonal "creator." All of mankind and life is governed by the laws of the Universe (or rather, our best perceptions of them).

And no, I'm not necessarily a pantheist, because I don't think all creation is "God." Maybe I am in my believe that the Universe itself is "God," but I also feel that "God" cannot be described by mere concepts and stereotypes such as "perfection" or "good" and "evil."

My views are, in my view, very logical rather than mystic. In fact, I dismiss mysticism as complete and utter nonsense, and no longer have any belief in the supernatural. If there's something we can't explain, why don't we just let the chips fall where they may, instead of attributing it to a nonexistant archetype?

Whew... I think I've said enough... You'll start to wonder what planet I'm from. :o)
