Honestly, Jan, Norm's approach, as well as several others' who have a similar style, worked fairly well with me, but after some two years it seems I'm some sort of anomaly. I no longer expect people to get around the somewhat offensive language in order to glean the factual discourse. Norm is preaching to the choir with his posts, and this here choir is starting to appreciate that H2O is not primarily supposed to be an ex-JW oriented atmosphere.
There are other boards for ex-JW oriented
bashing (and Norm's language was bashing, no matter how correct the factual information).
