The post was deleted because it was below another deleted posts. Ordinarily moderators are encouraged to delete the entire thread below a deleted post, unless the moderator feels that thread is relevant.

Did you know that if a moderator deletes the first post of a topic (the post that created the new topic), but leaves the remaining posts as "relevant," that topic could eventually disppear anyways? Why?

The reason is because the rebuild-board software, run when the board gets corrupted, only recognizes the first post of each topic. If the first post is deleted, then the rebuild software won't find the post and not rebuild the topic. Therefore, all posts below the original post will disappear.

Moderators should delete the entire topic if the first post of the one who created topic is against the FPP for this reason.
