Parden me, but I couldn't tell where the post from Witness.net ended and your comments began. Truthfully, I was ready to get on my anger pony and flame you when I re-read it and realized you were re-posting. You see, I have
a real problem with the Witnesses minimalizing their missed predictions of Armegeddon as if it had no consequences in the lives of thousands of families. It never effected me but other of the Witless teachings did. I lost an older brother
to polio only because a) the Society said inocculations were against Gods' law and b) because the elders contradicted the doctors' instructions and told my parents to bring my older brother to a circuit assembly when he'd only been out of
the iron lung for a few days. They never apologized once for any of this because he "died faithful" and we'll all see him again after Armegeddon. Within a year I left the witnesses because everytime I asked for biblical support for their
rules, I was told I was too young to understand. Well at age fifteen I was old enough to understand that I could vote with my feet so I chose to look for truth elsewhere.
It seems to me that if they could acknowledge that they missed
the mark by a little in 1975, maybe they could see that they may be missing the mark in a lot of issues including intrepretation of various biblical themes. Oh well, I'll have to vent my frustration at someone else. You don't seem to
have deserved it afterall....
