I think that the removal of M14 is inevitable. He may survive into the FPP 2000 era, but he will not be able to change his ways. He's the lame duck of the moderator pool. I expect that he will be allowed to "resign", due to his disapproval of FPP 2000. I'll bet that his letter of resignation will be something to be remembered.
Phrases that I'll be looking for:
"You won't have Moderator 14 to kick around any more."
"Old Moderators never die, they just fade away."
"If I am renominated as Moderator, I will not run. If elected, I will not serve"
