This "Carabine" is almost certainly a long-time JW named Phillip Couture, who is mentioned in Carl Jonsson's 2nd edition of The Gentile Times Reconsidered as a JW apologist on the subject of chronology. I had an extensive debate
with Carabine about certain aspects of JW chronology several years ago on AOL, near the end of which he withdrew from AOL. He proved to have connections with the Society's top scholar on chronology in Bethel. These guys know perfectly well
how tenuous the Society's claims are, and so in his usual supremely arrogant fashion Carabine squelched any debate. This illustrates how the Society itself doesn't want any discussion of the issue. Carabine is closely associated with Greg
