Hahaha, Sounds familiar.
I always thought it was funny when we'd go to the door and you could hear people inside, talking, laughing and the whole bit, but when we knocked on the door no one would answer, it would get quiet real quick. So we'd move on and a few minutes later someone would turn around just to look and sure enough, a neighbor or the mailman or someone would knock on the door, and lo and behold, the door opens!
