Dear Friend,
I don't understand two things, why is it unfortunate if a belief system is on "logical grounds"? Secondly, what is the Witnesses "your soul is you" rationale? I understood the JW doctrine to deny the existance of a "soul" as being a phenomnona separate from the flesh. Therefore we are just a hunk of meat with no reality other than the soma. Has their thinking changed with "new light"?

The rational soul, mind, spirit etc. has no reality? What evidence is there to support this contention? Seems the cognative mind suppports a different conclusion and that science is/has already concluded that we are spiritual beings having a material experiance. Mechanistic positivism is rapidly losing favor in scientific circles. I'll have to dig up some monographs to quote from otherwise I'll quickly be in over my head.
