I think Cygnus did a pretty good job at correcting some of your misconceptions concerning blood. You say that your blood contains parts contributed by your parents? Actually, blood cells lack chromosomes unlike cells from other organs. That is why it is easier for the body to accept foreign blood cells than it is to accept say a heart or kidney. The bible's view on blood is highly symbolic of the value of life. Please remember that there is nothing inherently supernatural about blood, it is an organ like any other, but Jehovah used it to show how precious he view our lives. When the society tell us we cannot have a transfusion to save our lives, they are placing more importance in the symbol than what it symbolizes. As a brother who serves as a Ministerial Servant, I urge you to research all you ccan before making a decision that could affect you life for better or worse. Best to ya.
