: Here's a piece of advice. Take it for what it's worth.

It's not worth a thing. Your words are completely general and say nothing more than, "I don't like you very much."

: The wisest course of action when it comes to discussing WTS issues is to either put up or shut up?

Had you phrased that as a statement and not a question, it would have been perfect advice for the WTS itself. Jan puts up initially and when challenged; the WTS puts up intially but runs when challenged.

Now let's see if you can put up. Let's see you put up a specific criticism and see how it stands up.

: They have been studying matters pertaining to the Bible for over a century.

Just goes to show that working long and hard is not necessarily working smart.

: Whereas your age alone is a quarter of those years, and most certainly a tiny fraction of the collective man years invested in Biblical research by WTS scholars.

Isn't there a scripture about Jehovah clobbering someone who is a perennial liar though he be 100 years old?

What does age have to do with anything? Don't the facts Jan posts stand by themselves?

No, not for most JWs, since they care only for who says something, not for what is said -- i.e., they care little for facts.

What can be said about the collective competence of a religious body when a mere boy can show them for what they are?

: That is why it's best you either put up or shut up and stop assuming you're the only authority on knowledge, logic and reason. Listen to others for a change. You might learn something new.

Once again this is perfect advice for the arrogant old men who claim to be "the faithful and discreet slave". You might try following it yourself. You can start by posting facts rather than whining personal attacks.
