I agree. My point is that Rick did not delete this scam attempt, he responded to it, and then was deleted himself.
Personally, if I was a moderator, and I saw that the person who wrote the FPP was responding to a post, I would think that the post was acceptable, even if I thought that the original post should have been deleted. I did in fact think that the original post was a classic example of a scam, and I would have deleted it as soon as I saw it. Once Rick responded, however, I would have left it. Rick wrote the rules, and I would have assumed that he knew what they meant, and how they should be enforced.
