It might help to know that apostasy, as Seeker mentioned, is leaving Christ/God/Christianity, not a particular organization claiming to follow such. Those scriptures are generally talking about leaving Christianity itself. You'll find support for this in the fact that Peter questioned Jesus, "Lord whom shall we go away to?". He was referring to a person, Jesus Christ, not some organization claiming to follow him.

On the other hand, it might be better to focus on getting her to think critically. Instead of pointing out the conclusions, ask her questions that force her to come to the right conclusions on her own. External pressure will be resisted, but internal pressure is next to impossible to resist.

Good examples of these types of questions are found on AJWRB's website. For example, if you were reasoning with her about transfusions not being an eating of blood, you might direct her to the Society's quotation of Jean Baptiste Denys. A common question might be, "See, the Society resorted to a doctor who had been long dead to support their claim. Why?". But a much better question would be, "The Society resorted to a doctor that had been long dead to support their claim. Don't modern doctors agree?"

Just my 2 cents
