Shelby, There are aspects of the WBTS (thanks COMF!) that I think are beneficial. I think many lives have been turned around for the better. I have a friend who used to be a gang member and now is a family man with a mature attitude. A
few others I know of have had a positive change in their lives because of becoming a Witness. Also, I've met a lot of great people I wouldn't have otherwise met. People that had a very good impact on me and helped shape who I am today.
Of course, it has also harmed many lives. I don't see any positive aspects of the WBTS that couldn't be had elsewhere or by other means. I think the world would be better off without it, but I don't really advocate its destruction.
