The U.S. was not attacked by Hitler either

The argument is that the United States was not attacked by Saddam. Directly speaking then that is true. It is true that the 9/11 tragedy was directly caused by Osama Bin Laden. It is also widely known that few things in this world are that simple.

Despite the inaccurate portrayals by the campaigns the 9/11 and Duelfur reports do show that there were connections between Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein.

As I have said before the similarities between Iraq and World War 2 are great. As in WWII the U.S. was not attacked by the Germans at Pearl Harbor yet the US declared war on Germany too.
