Bush is a visionary

Like FDR & Winston Churchill before them I think President Bush & Tony Blair along with other world leaders see and understand the true evil in terrorism, but most importantly they understand the cause and see the root. They want to eliminate the visible part of the problem, like Bin Laden and the Afghanistan training grounds, but with international help they have also targeted the root of the problem. That is the real reason for the military action in Iraq. Al Qaeda is the most visible and infamous terror organization, but it is far from being the only terror organization in the world. These organizations are ideologically driven and exist all over the world.

I don’t want to place any blame at all on the Islamic religion and I am not promoting racist activity, but Islamic extremists seem determined to destroy all people that do not adhere to their brand of extreme Islam. That is not saying that Muslims in general are terrorists.

Terrorism and terrorists organizations are all over the world and there are many organizations. Many terrorist organizations are quite fluid and do not resemble a traditional organization. They may also have figure heads, but like worms they function quite well without heads.

FDR & Winston Churchill also faced large amounts of opposition. Much of world opinion opposes military action in Iraq, but I believe that the current war in Iraq and the terrorism problem have more in common with World War II than the Vietnam War.
